Founding Directors.

iSapien was founded by Andrew and Paul to develop leading edge digital solutions for businesses in Australia with a particular focus on mobile and social media. The iSapien team is made up of highly skilled professionals across the digital media and software development industry, all having gained extensive experience working for the top digital agencies in Australia over the last decade. We have brought our team together to offer your business expert advice, service and delivery of your next digital project.

Andrew Tweedie

Senior Project Manager & Business Analyst

Andrew brings 16 years of experience in the field of strategic and business analysis and the delivery of leading-edge technology projects for large enterprise and government organisations. He is the key interface between the client’s business needs and the technical and creative teams.

His experience has seen him develop highly complex enterprise level projects for major clients in the government and commercial sectors, including the Australian Federal Department of Finance, the United Nations International Trade Division, Colonial First State (Bank Australian), RogenSi (global management consultancy) Telstra (Australia’s largest telco) and Panasonic for the A380 Airbus entertainment system.

Andrew is the key interface between the Client and the creative and development teams and is involved from the initial requirements stage through to project delivery. He has a global network of industry leading creative and technical experts that can be called upon to provide highly specialised and expert input into virtually any type of project requirement. He is also a member of the International Institute of Business Analysts.

Paul Doyle

Commercial Director

Paul provides iSapien with top level programme leadership and governance, a deep understanding of implementing strategic transformation, new business architecture and organisational change. He has implemented strategic change for some of Australia’s leading financial institutions, pay television and global property giants, delivering their future state to them.

Paul led the startup of the subscriber acquisition operation for AUSTAR Pay Television and later at Westfield he utilised ‘bleeding edge’ technology to enable their online sales and service channel to create a world class experience. Paul has worked both for the iconic AMP and St George Bank focusing on reinventing their customer channels and introducing new technology. Always at the forefront of change he held a chair on AMP’s Innovation Council. At Westpac Banking Corporation, Paul was the Principal Business Architect until he moved on to lead multi-million dollar enterprise-wide projects as Programme Director for regulatory change, compliance and technical post-merger work.

Matthew Dilley

Chief Technical Officer

Matthew Has over 12 years experience in supporting and implementing server-side infrastructures and front-end web systems – for Linux, and Windows2008 server platforms.
He has acheived Microsoft MCDP Certification, which includes topics: ASP/.NET for web development, ADO, and WCF Webservices, Provided front-end and CMS support for Ladbrokes e-gaming – UK, Railcorp, National Museum of Australia,Telstra, Bigpond, Vodafone, British Telecom – UK and Sky Digital – NZ

Matthew has a passion and productive experience in open source Technologies including Linux, Mysql, Oracle RDBMS. He has honed his skills in Back-end server systems including most flavours of Linux, PHP, Java/tomcat, Oracle, mySQL and Apache web server, Ant and code versioning systems such as Subversion and GIT
Front-end skills in PHP, JSP, ASP .NET and Android mobile

We bring together internationally recognised experts in human-centred design for ‘leading-edge’ technology and have the combined skills and experience required to discover, define and deliver an exceptional web, mobile and social solutions. The team we have fielded for this proposal include some of Australia’s top User Experience specialists, creative leads and digital project managers who have been involved in defining and building leading edge solutions for top tier clients both in Australia and abroad.

Henry Cho

Mobile UI/UX Strategy & Design

Henry has over 15 years experience in the field of User Experience Strategy, Interaction Design and Information Architecture for a growing list of Blue Chip companies including: Telstra, Jetstar, Westpac, BT, NineMSN, Optus, Virgin Mobile, Hutchison 3, AAS and Rest Superannuation.

He has lead User Experience design teams on large scale projects with budgets up to $5 million more recently focusing on the implementation of User Centred Design Strategies with businesses to effect organisational change. He has extensive experience in creating strategies and implementing design for mobile devices and associated publishing tools over the last 9 years most recently designing a mobile CMS tool and creating the Android and iPhone portals for Hutchison 3.

Ivan Schneiders

Strategic Business Analyst & User Experience Lead

Ivan brings over 15 years of experience in digital strategy, interface and product design and management in the digital media field and has worked for an extensive list of market leading clients across a broad range of industries including Telstra, Toyota, Macquarie Media and Working Title Films.

Ivan has a foundation in sociology (critical theory, mass media and technology) and has taught digital media at the top Australian Universities. He excels in connecting the very big picture to the practicalities of large scale digital media development to the needs of the end user. Ivan takes the process of user centred design beyond the simple interfaces and ensures online success through quantifiable improvements in online business performance. Over the last 12 months Ivan has been involved in delivery large scale User Experience projects for ING, Clayton Utz, Google and the Salvation Army.

Nigel Macquet

Branding & Creative Lead

Nigel has a deep understanding of user centred design and a passion for branding. He has extensive experience in designing for interactive screens and brings to iSapien an unparalleled knowledge of how to create visual experiences that articulate client’s communication objectives.

Andrew Cutler

Development Lead

Andrew has more than 10 years developing web software and web-based systems with extensive experience constructing and managing n-tier web platforms to building social media integrations. Andrew has worked on a wide range of projects from Lead Developer on sydney2000.com (Sydney Olympics) to managing ecommerce infrastructure for a +$1Bn annual sales online B2B supplier. Andrew has a breadth of knowledge and is technical savvy which allows him to think creatively about solving complex issues.

Andrew has worked with iSapien to define and deliver several social media projects we have developed for Pepsi brands including Gatorade and Mountain Dew. He has also been involved in developing social media strategies that encompass custom built Facebook applications for some of our financial services clients.

Emma Cassim

Marketing, Media & Social Campaign Manager

Emma has 15 years experience across all aspects of the marketing mix and has recently been involved in developing campaigns that utilise social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to optimise budgets and maximise results. She joins iSapien from the role of Head of Marketing for NRMA Holiday Parks, where she delivered several campaigns using social strategies.

Development Partners

iSapien has long-term relationships with onshore and off-shore development partners who provide an extended development capability when needed. Our development teams have a comprehensive skills set across all digital platforms including web, mobiles, social media and back-end integration and systems design and development. Our combined teams have in excess of 80+ people in Sydney and Asia and are certified across most common development platforms.
